Did you know? 2 in 3 Alberta Women have experienced at least one incident of physical or sexual assault since the age of 16.
These statistics need to change.
S.T.A.N.D. ASA is a grassroots non-profit organization run by survivors for survivors. We envision a world free from victim shaming. A world where there is no stigma attached to sexual assault.
S.T.A.N.D. ASA focuses on:
▫️Preventing sexual assault through education.
▫️Providing peer support to survivors of sexual assault.
▫️Promoting physical, mental, and emotional well-being through holistic healing practices.
Our main fundraising initiatives have been cancelled this year due to COVID-19; however, the need for our services has increased. Join us and help to change the statistics, help survivors of sexual assault to heal, and take a S.T.A.N.D. Against Sexual Assault.
