Dear Valued Velour Community,
It is with great sadness that we announce the permanent closure of Velour. This decision has not been easy, and it is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye. For years, our greatest joy has been the unique, kind, and incredibly stylish individuals who have walked through our doors. You have made Velour more than just a store; you’ve helped us create a vibrant, creative community that we will cherish forever.
As time has gone on, we’ve found it increasingly difficult to operate the store in a way that aligns with our values—offering an alternative to over-consumerism by providing a sustainable space where customers could exchange their clothing and find pieces that are truly an extension of their creativity and individuality.
Unfortunately, as our business ends, this means all customer accounts have been closed and all unused credit has been rendered void. We apologize for the inconvenience and disappointment this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
It breaks our hearts to know that we are not alone in this struggle, as many other wonderful small businesses in our city are also finding it hard to keep their doors open. We hope that this moment serves as a reminder of the importance of supporting local businesses. Every purchase you make at a small, independent store has a significant impact and helps sustain the diverse and vibrant community we all love.
Thank you for your understanding and support as we move on to the next chapters of our lives. We are forever grateful for the wonderful years and the incredible people we’ve had the privilege to meet and serve along the way.
