THANK YOU FOR ANOTHER AMAZING WEEKEND!

To everyone who came to see us, shopped with our vendors and shared in the excitement, thank you! It was another incredibly busy weekend, and we’re so grateful for the support you continue to show our plant community.

A huge thank-you to our amazing vendors for bringing such beautiful plants, products and displays. The time, care and hard work you put into your businesses truly showed.

And to our wonderful volunteers: we could not have done this without you! Thank you for giving your time, helping our attendees and vendors, and keeping everything running smoothly throughout the weekend. You were such a big part of making this expo successful.

Thank you for growing this community with us. Rest up, enjoy your new plants and we’ll see you again in April 2027!

🌱 Something exciting is growing between local businesses! 🌱

Michael from Carabao Mercado has grown some absolutely incredible passion fruit — right here on the prairies near Chin, Alberta! It’s always exciting to see unique, high-quality produce being grown so close to home.

Now, we’re hoping to bring together our skills, ideas, and locally grown ingredients with the brilliant team at Cookie Crimes to create something truly special — a delicious local treat for our community to enjoy.

We love seeing local businesses come together, share ideas, and find creative ways to showcase what can be grown and made right here in Southern Alberta.
Stay tuned to see what comes from this collaboration!
I know one thing for certain… I’m already looking forward to trying some locally grown passion fruit ice cream! 😋🍦

🚗 PARKING INFORMATION

There is underground parking available at the Strathcona County Community Centre.
• First two hours are free.
• All-day parking on weekends and holidays is a $2 flat fee.
• You must register your license plate at a pay station every time you park, even if you’re staying for less than two hours.

🌸 Beautification Project — 13th St & 2nd Ave 🌿
This whole project started with a simple dream: to see more flowers and a little more beauty in our neighborhood. What it has grown into has been more than I could have imagined.

The plants have brought so much vibrancy and life to the area, but what has meant the most to me is seeing how a little effort can inspire others. Since adding and maintaining the planters, I’ve watched community members step forward to pick up trash, pull weeds, help with watering, and simply take a little more pride in the space around them.

Like any project, there have been a few hiccups along the way, and there is still plenty of work to be done. But I truly believe this is a wonderful start to something that can continue to grow.

My hope is that this project is about more than just flowers. I hope it encourages people to take pride in our neighborhood, look after the spaces we share, and realize that even small acts of care can make a real difference.

A little effort, a little colour, and a little community spirit can go a long way. ❤️🌱
