Tomorrow April 1st 💜
The Pink Moon
Despite its name, the Moon will not turn pink.

The name comes from the first wild blooms of spring, creeping phlox, the small pink flowers that begin spreading across the earth as winter finally loosens its grip. Long before modern calendars, people named the moons after what the land was doing.

And this Moon speaks of awakening.

The Pink Moon rises during the season when the earth begins to stir again. Roots that have slept beneath frozen soil begin pushing upward. Sap rises through the trees. The quiet death of winter slowly gives way to movement.

For witches, this Full Moon is not just beautiful, it is fertile energy.

It is the Moon of re-emergence.

The shadow work of winter has been done. The introspection, the shedding, the solitude. Now something inside you begins to stretch toward the light again.

But spring growth is not always gentle.

New life breaks through hardened ground. Buds split open to form leaves. The earth does not apologize for growing and neither should you.

The Pink Moon carries energy of:

• renewal
• creative awakening
• emotional thawing
• intentions beginning to take form

If winter was about going inward, this Moon asks:

What are you ready to grow now?

Witches often use this Full Moon to nourish intentions planted earlier in the year. To reconnect with the natural rhythm of becoming. To step back into movement after the stillness of colder months.

The first day of spring.

The moment when the world pauses in perfect balance...
light and dark,
day and night,
held in equal measure.

For a brief breath of time, neither outweighs the other.

And then…
the light begins to grow.

This is the spring equinox or Ostara, the lengthening of the days, the quiet insistence of life returning.

Dark and light,
perfectly balanced...
if only for a moment.
