After 34 incredible years, the doors of Vested Interest Trading have officially closed.
It is hard to find the words to express what this journey has meant.
What began as a small dream grew into an adventure that took us to more than 55 countries, introduced us to remarkable artisans and suppliers, and allowed us to bring a little piece of the world home to our community. Along the way, we experienced extraordinary highs, heartbreaking challenges and countless unforgettable moments.
But the greatest gift was never the products.
It was you.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve been overwhelmed by your visits, your stories, your hugs, your tears, your laughter, your cards, and the hundreds of messages you’ve shared. So many of you told us that Vested Interest wasn’t just a store—it was a tradition, a destination, and a place where you felt welcome. Those words will stay with us forever.
Thank you for supporting a small independent business and for choosing to shop locally. Thank you for trusting us, encouraging us, and allowing us to be part of your lives and your families.
Although the doors have closed, the memories never will.
This isn’t just the end of a business. It’s the closing of an extraordinary chapter that we will always treasure.
