Your orchids aren't dead when the flowers fall off! 😱

Make sure they're in the proper substrate. Here im using an orchid mix with orchid bark and lava rock. Cut off squishy, black, or rotting roots. Cut the flower stem off at the base (or some folks say above a node). If the roots are silvery, give them a good soak. Fertilize with an orchid specific fertilizer. Watch those babies bloom! 🌺
