Soup for the Cultured Soul returns this year!!!

This beloved fundraiser has always been about more than soup. It is about nourishment, generosity, and the care that goes into the arts.

We are so excited to welcome our community, your ticket includes a handcrafted ceramic bowl from a local potter, soup tastings from a curated selection of local chefs, artisan bread, local chocolates, a glass of wine (or non alcoholic beverage) all in support of the Kootenay Gallery of Art.

We are accepting nominations up until Dec. 17 so there is still time.

ENTER OUR “CARING FOR OTHERS” DRAW!

This time of year is full of colour and lights and joy but it can be a difficult time for a lot of people. Hardship exists for many and the Holiday Season can be an isolating time for some. We want to give a little care to someone in our local area.

Do you know someone who could use a little seasonal joy this year? Do you have a friend or neighbour who needs a little cheer? Do you know someone who selflessly helps others and could use a bit of self care? We want to send a little love to someone this holiday season with a Care Basket of locally sourced items including some we sell in our shop and some that have been donated by our wonderful artisans.

Send us a private message with the name of your nominee and we will enter his or her name in the draw. If you would like, you can tell us why you are nominating that person and we will share your message with the recipient. Feel free to let them know how wonderful they are. And please let us know how we can contact them after the draw.

You can also nominate someone by stopping by the shop in Balfour and simply adding a name to our list.

We would be grateful for any shares on this post to reach as many people as possible.
