LYML is beyond grateful to Ellen, Eric, Emily and her family for their continued support and generosity.
We have always done our best to give back and recognize this group, it’s because of them that we have been able to make some donations over the years. We have sponsored LYML athletes participating in National Championships and we donated every year to the Noelles Gift at local schools. We were able to purchase sticks 🥍🥍 and balls for the Little Eagles at Aamjiwnaang Kinoomaage Gamig and last year we sponsored three families and provided everything necessary for a Christmas meal. We are able to purchase new nets and equipment for our school visits and summer camps. It’s because of the Matt Cousins Memorial Golf Tournament Committee that we are able to do all of this and I know it puts a smile on Ellen’s face when she is having a rough day. They love our grassroots programs and our commitment every day to grow the game of lacrosse. Thanks again, you guys are amazing.

What a phenomenal day at the Matt Cousins Memorial Golf Tournament. I want to thank Ellen and Eric for having us and I want to thank everyone who participated in our event (around 80 participants) and to everyone who purchased our LYML bucket hats and T’s. Huge thanks to Shani and Mags for helping me out and congrats to Ty Myers and River Dionne for winning the competition. If you are a part of Wallaceburg Lacrosse, your son or daughter plays or your a young man on the Red Devils, you should be picking up a phone or writing a thank you card. Because this family is literally carrying your organization’s financially and everything you have received from this group is a blessing. Such a great day, so many people laughing and having a great time in honour of such a great young man that I’m sure was looking down and smiling too. Already looking forward to next year. Thanks again everyone

The Matt Cousins Memorial Golf Tournament is this Sunday at Hidden Hills Golf Course. LYML will be set up with an event that is inclusive to everyone attending.
10 shots from ❤️72❤️ inches with red, 4 orange and the Matty Cousin Moonshot with an accumulated point total depending on your accuracy.

Home from Provincials up in Whitby since Thursday. Always the best time with Brennor Tait and Durty bouncing around from rink to rink to watch Lacrosse and cheering on my former players that are now coaching and my LYML players from W’Burg, Sarnia and Strathroy. Was spoiled by some great lacrosse and all the Teams did awesome this weekend. Loved watching you boys give back to the sport you love Cory Lucier Brendan Johnston Tyler Davis Bronson Bea Kyle VanDamme and Eric VanRuymbeke. Home in time to watch the Junior B and Junior A games tonight.

This young man has put in a ton of time with LYML. He started out as Taliin but then I started calling him Talladega because he ran every where and it stuck. I absolutely love this kid even though he always found time every session to give me a good little slash. He’s off to Halifax to represent Team First Nations at the U15 Nationals so I had to give him a small Sponsorship. Wishing you all the best Taliin and keep Leaving Your Mark kid.

When Noal was just getting into lacrosse as a little guy, his Mom was brave enough to bring him to Wallaceburg for our LYML Summer Camps. He was an active participant in the winter and summer programs for years and now he is a lead instructor at our camps. He’s off to Halifax to represent Team Ontario at the U17 Nationals so we are proud to give him a small sponsorship to help him out. Thank you Andrea and Noal for your years of dedication and for always supporting LYML, we wish you all the best and keep Leaving Your Mark.

What an awesome 3 days of sessions with the Strathroy Screaming Eagles U11 Team this week. Today was by far our best day. Smashing targets and increasing our velocity on the radar gun. Then the best part was at the end of the day. The watermelon 🍉 got absolutely destroyed. Huggggge thanks to Coach Kyle for making this happen and to all the parents for your dedication. I’m am wishing you all the best in Whitby at Provies and be sure to Leave Your Mark fellas.

I had 7 U11 Griffins and a Pacer out for 6 days, perfecting their skills before Provies. Everyone shot harder on the radar gun and if you look at the targets being smashed we are doing it with accuracy. Huge thanks to everyone that participated, keep Leaving Your Mark.
