Re-firing magic! Thank you Dawson Creek Potters Guild for fitting my steins into the glaze fire. I love how these turned out!

So, some unfortunate news for all the members of the community studio.

As you may know, I use the Highschool kiln to fire all the studio items. This includes open studio and class items. The kiln unfortunately under-fired this weekend and is now shut down for repairs.

I do not know when the kiln will be repaired and I am looking into other options for pieces waiting to be fired. This means that if you have recently had a class and are waiting for things, it’ll take longer than I originally quoted you.

I greatly apologize for the delay in finishing your pieces, but please be assured they will be done as soon as I can access a kiln again!

Thank you for everyone’s patience and understanding!

My under-fired stein for interest 😬🫣 looks kinda cool if it wasn’t so sad 😅

Come support the Peace Region’s local potters at the annual fundraising auction! I will have a stein up for auction that night, as well as a w**e goblet 🍷🍺 Hope to see you there!

09/14/2026

For the remainder of the month, I will be open Mondays and Thursdays from 3:30-8:30! See you all there!

Edit! My apologies I meant Mondays and Thursdays!

09/09/2026

I will not be at the studio for the remainder of the week to get school going.

Please be aware that with school back in session my hours will likely change next week and I may only have 2 days a week available for the remainder of the month. I will post on Sunday to let you all know 😁

Thank you for your patience and support while I navigate all of this!
