"Oremus" is Latin for "Let us pray" — and that's exactly what these little handmade companions are for.
A pocket oratory is a small, foldable prayer wallet — inspired by the ones soldiers and travellers carried centuries ago to keep a private place of prayer close to their hearts, no matter where life took them.
We make ours by hand, here in Canada, and customize each one according to what matters most to you — your favourite saints, cherished prayers, devotions, and sacred art. Some people even include family photos alongside their holy images.
They are not meant to sit on a shelf. They are meant to be opened, prayed with, carried in a pocket or purse, and eventually, well-worn with love and use.
