After 40 years as a professional graphic designer and typographer, I have retired into a life of creative leisure in Chilliwack, BC, Canada. My passion for the weird and wonderful has taken my creative pursuits into the realm of curiosity and fantasy. I hope you enjoy exploring my designs as they evolve from a vision in my head, into a final piece of cre

ative oddity. I have separation anxiety every time I think about parting with one of my whatnots, so trying to decide what to place in my shop is a tad hard. I plan to evolve the shop selection to include nightlights, plus some of my fairy and gnome doors once I get back into design mode on those this summer. I might also explore selling mini garden embellishments down the road. I have such fun making ladders, furniture, plant pots, bridges, benches... my brain keeps thinking up new items. Let the creative curiosity flow!

I’m looking forward to hosting at the Odlum Brown Gallery in the on the final two afternoons of the Transitions and Connections Show. One of my clothing manufacturers release this new jacket style this week... and I am obsessed with it. I want to bring in a sample, but can’t decide which of these two designs I should try.

I’ve not made any style of jacket in shades of blues... and “Cerulean Swirls” is definitely one of my most favourite blue designs. Then on the opposite spectrum is “Dragonscape”, with its fabulous shades of browns, oranges, greens and gold.

Help? Which would you choose?

I finally got an opportunity to attend Creative Third Thursday at . I’ll most definitely be a regular every month from now on. .media hosted one of my favourite young artists, , to a conversation about his artistic style and many contributions to the Chilliwack arts scene. It was wonderful to chat with other attendees both before and after the show. There is simply nothing more fun than “talking Art” with others in the community. 😍
