🌈✨ Our Second Annual Pride Bedazzling Party is here! ✨🌈

We’re so excited to welcome you back to the cottage for an evening filled with love, laughter, creativity, and a little bit of sparkle. Join us on June 28th from 6–8PM as we celebrate Pride together with good company, colourful snacks, and plenty of rhinestones.

Bring a favourite book from home (or choose one from our shelves!) and transform it into a glittering masterpiece. We’ll have all the bedazzling supplies ready and waiting for you.

Our Swans have been busy snapping up tickets with their early access (one of the many perks of our Swan Society Membership 👀🦢), which means spots are filling quickly. If want to join us, act fast!

Some people become part of the story of a little bookshop long before they ever step through the door. Patti has been one of those people for us. 🦢💖

She’s been cheering on our wee cottage bookshop since the very beginning — celebrating the big milestones, the quiet moments, and everything in between. Friends like Patti are such a huge part of what makes this little space feel so special, and we’re endlessly grateful for the kindness and encouragement she’s shared with us since we opened our doors.

She popped by the cottage the other day and captured these dreamy new photos (seriously… how magical are they?). And if that wasn’t enough, she also happens to be an incredibly talented author.

If you haven’t discovered Patti’s work yet, this is your sign to do so. ✨

Treat yourself to something nice this long weekend. Maybe a fresh bouquet, a hot new buzzy book, or a cottage bow book sleeve 🎀💐

We love filling the cottage with pieces made by talented women in our community. These beautiful book sleeves are handmade by our friend Lady May, and the florals from Bloom & Spade.

Starting this week, we’ll be carrying her locally grown flowers in the shop, which means the bouquets will change week to week depending on what’s in season — always fresh, always a little different.

Pop in, take your time, and find something that feels like a little treat 🌷✨

We’re so excited to finally share this one with you. ✨

Join us Friday, June 19th from 6–8PM at Kettlewells for a creative and inspiring evening celebrating the launch of The Daily Play by Brittany DeSantis (Peak Paper Co.).

We’ll spend the evening chatting with Brittany about the book, creativity, and rediscovering play in everyday life before settling in for a guided hands-on journaling session using some of her favourite techniques. The evening will wrap up with personalized book dedications and signing time.

Your ticket includes:
• An author talk with Brittany
• Guided creative journaling workshop
• A signed copy of The Daily Play with a personalized dedication
• A limited-edition art print
• Light refreshments & snacks

We’re so excited to be the official booksellers for the Collingwood Public Library’s upcoming author event with Karma Brown✨

Join us at the Collingwood Public Library on Thursday, May 21st from 6–7:30PM as she chats about her latest novel, Mother is Watching — a chilling new release taking the CanLit world by storm. We’ll be on site with books available for purchase, so you can grab a copy (and maybe a signature 👀).
