We have received information suggesting that our fishing derby may have been subject to fraudulent activity A individual who participated in our derby who won the top prize is under suspicion of cheating in another fish derby he attended Unfortunately, we are unable to post his picture or name due to insufficient evidence to prove that he may of participated in a fraudulent activity when he participated in our derby . This incident has left us feeling disheartened, for something this ugly to happen to our event, which honors the memory of our loved one and community member. We are deeply disappointed that such ugly behaviour has occurred, unfortunately we are not the only derby that as been subjected to this fraudulent activity , organizations will have to start making changes and to be cautious to prevent such incident from happening again ,as of yesterday we have never heard of such a thing happening or even possible but it’s does
