Yesterday, I stepped into my very first in-person market in Yellowknife, not really knowing what to expect—just a table full of my kreations and a hopeful heart.

The doors opened, and slowly, the space filled with familiar northern faces, warm smiles, and curious eyes. Every person who stopped by, whether to support, browse, just touch the fluffy tufts very gently and nervously put them back, or simply say hi, made the day feel lighter. Huge Mahsi Cho to each of you for that.

A special Mahsi Cho as well to for giving me the opportunity to be part of this market.

One of the best moments was finally meeting fellow beaders in person—people whose work I’ve admired from afar. Sharing laughter, stories, and techniques made the experience even better.

I walked away feeling grateful, proud of myself, and excited for whatever comes next. Thanks again everyone!!
