It was with the greatest of sadness that on Wednesday, we took Jenny for her last ride, so she could cross that rainbow bridge.

She turned 14 at the beginning of the month, and prior to that she was diagnosed with cancer.

Best dog... ever.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend... seems we are all down with the sniffles here although I have been pretty functional by virtue of decongestants.

Yesterday I went to the shop and installed new ball joints and brake pads in the new old car and she drives beautifully and stops even better.

We have some house calls to make in the coming weeks and the weather is starting to feel more like winter so the bike will soon be parked, and the car will be ready.

The lady is still recovering from surgery and walking better, and with a school strike I am taking the wee one to day care when I take Joanne to work in the morning.

Someone has been having a lot of fun with the AI here and looking at this, I think I may have been born in the wrong era... lol

Update:

Still working to get things arranged and unpacked... have been so busy tending to things at home that I have not had as much time as I thought to really dig in.

Add to that, the new old car (for as nice as it is) will need a few things so my weekends will be a bit busy as I deal with those essentials... like new front struts which I will be picking up tomorrow morning.

Just not enough hours in the day right now...

Happy Friday everyone... still unpacking the shop here and dealing with some evil back pain.

Hopefully things will settle down, and happy that my better half had her cast removed and is able to walk a little (on two feet) although she still won't be doing any full weight bearing for about 4 weeks.
