🎉 Happy 45th Anniversary, Lucky Supermarket!❤️
Lucky’s story is such an inspiring one! After arriving in Edmonton from Vietnam in 1979, the Nguyen family missed the ingredients and flavours of home. What started as Edmonton’s first Vietnamese grocery store in a small 500 sqft shop has grown into the family-owned Lucky Supermarket with 8 locations across Canada (with one more coming to west Edmonton in 2027)! Even after all these years, they’re still proudly Canadian, family-owned and committed to serving the community.
6 years ago, Caramunchies was still in its early days when Hong reached out after trying our caramel clusters and wanted to carry them at Lucky. We were selling mostly at farmers’ markets at the time so we thought someone was pranking us (but it was real!)🤣
Lucky became one of our very first major grocery partners and seeing our product on their retail shelves was such a special moment we’ll never forget!
That spirit of supporting local & curating unique goodies for our community to discover is something Lucky has done so well over the past 45 years and we’re so grateful to be a small part of their journey.
