Here is an artwork that is certainly very different from what you have seen from me before.
I had been commissioned by one of our collectors to paint this piece in remembrance of the little doggy gazing at you through the windshield of the shiny blue Silverado pickup truck that she loved riding around in.
It's strange how life works out: we lost both of our puppies this year while the piece was on my easel, being painted.
Needless to say, I put quite a bit more time and love in the work than normal, simply out of my unwavering respect for all of our wonderful four-legged family members.
