Hey everyone! We are making some changes to our consignor program. We thought about this for a long time and we decided that going forward, we will not be offering returns for items.
If you are a consignor/or would like to be one, when you drop off items to us we will keep them for up to 5 months (before it was 3) so that every item gets a chance to be sold. If this item has not sold after the 5 month period, it will donated.
So why change?
- for one, we noticed that we spend weeks at a time returning items when those hours could be spent on dropping new items!
- we also noticed that most people want their items donated anyway so it’s easier to change it entirely
- we plan on donating to local thrift businesses, women’s shelter, people in need as well and with these new rules we can serve the community better!
We hope that everyone support’s us through this decision. We thank everyone for being such amazing consignors and customers and we want to be able to provide new product as fast as possible!
*the items that are currently in our inventory will still follow the old rules and what you have signed on your contract. Going forward, all new consignors will have to agree to donate their items in the end or else we cannot accept the items
* some exclusions may apply for high end items such as purses, sunglasses, etc
* some items may be kept for less time than the 5 month mark depending on season and specific item
