Market season’s back and Papa T’s fired up 🙇🏻‍♂️🔥☀️Hot summer days, delicious Cantonese food and good times with all of you❤️. Papa T’s ready to dust off the outdoor setup, whip out the wok, fire up the charcoal grill and see all of you OUTSIDE 🎉🎊☀️☀️

Winter has been busy 🥵🥵and the team and I have been cooking up something special and I can’t wait to share it with you all 🤫, but imagine this; cooking over an open fire in an outdoor kitchen, covered seating area for you guys to come enjoy with friends and family (if your fam is like ours, the little ones having a blast at the wading pool and park while you order food) and all of this not only on Wednesday nights….😱😱😱. Oooh and a little bird said something about couple of Sunday Dim Sum/ Brunch and monthly pop-up takeovers from friends in the industry 🔥🥟🍳

I can’t say too too much yet, but just know that Papa T is bringing the same energy & the love but with a bigger team, to cook up more Cantonese feasts and chocolate treats for you guys ✨🇭🇰❤️

Hey hey chocolate friend ✌️🍫💕Sin nin Fai Lok Happy Lunar New Year 🧧🐴🎊✌️

Growing up, LNY was always a huge celebration with all of the siblings!
All of us coming together, getting our best outfit on and racing down to the shop to give our new year wishes to Mah 🙇🏻‍♂️✨
Back then, youtube and google wasnt as easy to look things up,so learning new wishes in Cantonese was tricky and Mah wouldn’t take the wishes twice..so we would try to keep hush between the one we knew and make sure we secured that Laiiii See fung 🧧🧧 😅😂

So for this very special occasion🧧🎊💛, I wanted to share the celebration and invite you all this Sunday at the to celebrate with me and the fam to bring in the year of the fire horse!

There will be dishes that not only taste good, but what they symbolize in the new year (prosperity, abundance and longevity)
We will have some Lo bak Goo/ Turnip cake, See Yao Chow Meein/ Stir Fry Egg noodles and various lucky fruits 🔥🍊🍍🎊

Save the date, this Sunday Feb 22nd from 10-3pm inside the Aberdeen Pavilion, to come welcome the year of the fire horse with prosperity and abundance 🙇🏻‍♂️🙌✨🎊

Already this Wednesday is the last night market of the season 😭😭😭 What?! How!? When!? Where did summer go 😫😫I know I know! Papa T is crying hard inside, but hey that means holiday season is around the corner wooot wooot 🎊🎄🎁 🍫

Jokes aside tho, I wanted to say thank you to all of you for the amazing season at , cooking up a Canto feast every Wednesday and see so many of you come back every week with more friends and fams, see that line up grow, be able to run it with so many friends that are like fam now, is more then what
Papa T can ask for 🙇🏻‍♂️✨🥹✌️🍫

What better way to say a big thank you to all of you all than hooking you guys up with some sweets ❤️ 🍫 ✨🤫🤫. So this Wednesday, come celebrate the last market of the season and stop by the booth for dinner and dessert is on Papa T, choose between a strawberry cup or bag of plain honeycomb 🍓🍯✨❤️🙇🏻‍♂️

“Dai Loo, Frérot or Brother”that’s what I’ve been calling Louay for the past 3 years! Weekly calls to check in on me & the fam, on my production week or to jump on the Wok or hot side at the farmers market to give me an extra hand when things get juicy🥵🥵, Louay has become more than a friend, he’s my older and wiser brother 🙇🏻‍♂️🙇🏻‍♂️(that gets into a bunch of mischiefs together on Sunday markets 🤫).

With his deep knowledge on bread🍞 and years of experience as a baker, when I talked to him about wanted to make a childhood milk bread with a sweet crust on top❤️‍🔥, he was all for it!

Fast forward to today, together we came up with our delicious Ga lai Bolo Bao (Beef Curry Bun), Char Siu Bolo Bao (Bbq Pork) and now our Breakfast Sammie Bolo Bao with Everthing bagel seasonings ✨❤️

So this weekend, even with the crazy forecast (wasn’t actually that bad after all, am I right 😅😅), and seeing all of you guys showed up to the farmers market for our Bolo Bao Breakfast Sammie, Louay & I couldn’t help ourselves to be shocked and overwhelmed, especially after selling out after few hours in 😭😱😱

Soo thank you thank you so so much chocolate friends for all the love🙇🏻‍♂️❤️✨✌️, will definitely be ready for you guys this weekend with more hot buns 🥪🍳❤️‍🔥

Unfortunately we have to postpone tomorrow’s S*k Fan La pop up dinner due to thunderstorms and heavy rain.
If you guys have seen the outdoor kitchen set up in the past, deep-frying and grilling under heavy rain doesnt sound like a formula for success 😅😅😅

I’m so sorry for the inconvenience this may cause and hope to see you guys back again on the 25th! We promise to bring the same crazy energy and some delicious food!
