Out of the Broom Closet has been offering hand-crafted jewelry, cloaks, costumes, and accessories since 2007. Veda enjoys working with chainmaille, and also enjoys creating one of a kind wire-wrapped jewelry. Not only are many of the pieces Veda makes one of a kind, they are also woven with positive energy and the focused intent to help bring healing to those who need it. If you love Hallowe'en, Pipes & Drums, and Kilts... do I have news for you! KILT-ober is THIS SATURDAY! That's right, I'll be in Debert setting up early morning. Events begin as early as 9am, and vendors will be on hand from 11am to 5pm. Address is 62 Ventura Dr. Admission is free!

Having first heard about this event last year after it happened, I immediately added it to my list for this year and reached out to introduce myself. To say I'm looking forward to Saturday would be an understatement!

Hello! It's been a bit since I shared an update. I actually took A VACATION! Left the province, travelled, explored, tried new things, had some amazing experiences, all that fun stuff. And... time to get back to our regularly scheduled chaos.

NEXT WEEKEND! Saturday, September 19th. At Exhibition Park! We'll be set up for the Halifax Oddities & Curiosities event! This will be Year Three for us, and we're very much looking forward to it!

Admission is $10. The organizers advise attendees to bring cash as not all vendors have card readers.

Rest assured, we're at least one of the vendors that have a Square reader, and we happily accept card payments!
