It’s nearly Christmas. Shopping is (almost) done, gifts are (nearly) all wrapped, Christmas knits are (more or less) done. I’m so looking forward to some R&R this week, some family time, some crafting time.

Look closely, you’ll see my gift to myself under that little tree - my Christmas Eve mystery sock kit from .wanderer.and.her.wool! I am on track to have everything wrapped up and ready by noon on Christmas Eve, so I will have the afternoon to myself to open my gift and cast on.

It’s finally time to open my Christmas Eve mystery package from .wanderer.and.her.wool! Swipe through to see all my goodies 😊

Thank you so much for the handwritten card, the lovely tea, the beautiful stitch markers and last but not least the GORGEOUS sock set, the colours in this set are just perfect!

pattern release is tomorrow!

I’m always in charge of the pies at my family’s holiday meals, and I always try to have at least two kinds to choose from. Ultimately, it turns out no one likes choosing, and we will often sample all the flavours! These socks are an homage to that tradition - I present perfect pie socks in strawberry-rhubarb and in blueberry - because who wants to choose!! 🤷‍♀️
