Hey it’s me, Steve (the phantom exists!). If you’ve ever placed an order from Vinyl Museum, you’ve definitely received one of my love letters. It’s been nearly 2 years since I’ve started this journey and the response has been overwhelming but last weekend Supercrawl was such an unexpected boost and a glimpse into what the future of selling in person looks like.
It’s largely been a 1-man show thus far but having family support last weekend hit differently. I want to take a moment to thank them and my friends for showing up and giving me the energy needed to serve my community in Hamilton. It was a joy meeting existing customers and new ones (damn, ya’ll have some good taste!). Being a black business owner in the vinyl space is such a rarity and I was constantly reminded how important my presence is this weekend. Thank you to the hundreds of people who made a purchase at my tent this weekend and thank you to the lovely folks Supercrawl. I’ve had a couple days of rest but now I’ll be working overtime to restock all the goodies that found new homes. Thank you Hamilton! ❤️
