Happy Thursday! It’s shaping up to be a beautiful day here today! Here’s a quick rundown of some of the places visitor the hut has seen so far in Sept, thank you everyone for stopping in, I have missed some but ran out of time, PEI and NS got missed I will add you next time! it’s still busy here and will be for at least a month more, come visit and explore the Maritimes! My shop is open all year and daily until Thanksgiving! (Oct 3 I will be closed)

Hexi Bouquet English paper piecing kits are now available. They feature 1 inch hexagons, to make connected hexagon flowers. Can be used for a pillow, quilt squares or anything else you with. Approx size is 14x14 inch. $6.99 each.

Happy Tuesday! It’s a chilly morning but the suns trying to come out. I will be getting some EPP hexi flower kits done today and working on a new applique today along with some sewing and stocking of shelves. Open till 5.

Some fun pictures from our day in PEI today. Most attractions are open until the end of Sept, some into Oct so if you’re heading that way here’s a few highlights.
Seacow Head lighthouse. You can explore the lighthouse which has a museum inside, see the Confederation bridge, there’s an osprey nest on a post by the cliff edge, snack bar and gift shop. Great spot!
Cabot Provincial Park; the beach is fantastic and dog friendly, it’s our favourite. There’s bathrooms, play ground, picnic tables. The weather was not nice but Ellie and I still waded in and got a few good waves, she was a very cold sea today! Kite surfers were having a blast!
The Kingston Veterans Memorial Military Museum in Kingston across from the haunted mansion is absolutely amazing! It was a great find today. Loaded with history from WW1 to Afghanistan. It’s by donation, make sure to stop in
We stopped at several farm stands and loaded up on fresh veg & potatoes of course!

Happy Sunday. It’s windy. Drizzly and a bit chilly. Huts open 11-4. I’m just finishing up my hexi flower applique and working on a Liberty one as well as restocking fat quarters. The hut is closed tomorrow, holiday Monday. Have a happy day!!
