We’ll have a lemonade stand set up in store!
Over the past several weeks, young entrepreneurs across our community have been developing the skills to launch and operate their own small businesses through the Lemonade Day curriculum. From setting goals and managing budgets to creating marketing plans and delivering exceptional customer service, these participants have been building the confidence and entrepreneurial mindset that will serve them well for years to come.
On Friday, August 21, those lessons become reality as participants open lemonade stands throughout Kamloops. Our interactive Stand Map is already taking shape, with 17 registered stands and more being added as entrepreneurs finalize their locations.
Following the success of our inaugural event in 2025, this year's participants have embraced every step of the journey—from attending marketing workshops and collecting their entrepreneur kits to preparing for launch day with creativity, determination, and enthusiasm.
We invite our community to support these inspiring young entrepreneurs by visiting one (or several!) lemonade stands on Friday, August 21. Every purchase is an investment in the next generation of business leaders and helps celebrate the hard work they've put into building their own ventures.
