PSA Fatherā€™s Day is this Sunday - have you got your card prepped yet?

I always find cards go missing or get thrown out by accident when they donā€™t have a place. So a few years ago I started this Fatherā€™s Day book for Chad. Each year the girls and I create a picture and answer a few questions about dad- and itā€™s become one of my favourite traditions šŸ¤

Every time I make a box, I wonderā€¦.

I wonder what it will be filled with. I wonder how often youā€™ll see it in your childā€™s closet and think of all the memories that are stored in there. I wonder if itā€™ll move from house to house with you.

I wonder when your babies graduate what youā€™ll feel like when you get to look back through all their organized memories safely tucked away; the birthday cards from grandma, the first soccer pictures, all the way through to their grade 12 graduation photos.

This memory box may start as an organizational tool to help us get us through the younger years when mounds of artwork come home from school. But one day, after itā€™s been filled with memories, it will become the place you go to remember all the little moments that helped make up their lives.

I feel so lucky to play a small part in that. Filling this one away as a moment to remember šŸ¤
