Hand-made, original mittens by Canadian designers made from reclaimed, upcycled wool. Each pair is Every pair is a one of a kind creation!

Ewe La La is the creative outlet for sisters Nancy and Corleen Asbreuk. We are both avid knitters with a fondness for the purity of wool and the natural attributes and comfort it provides in garments and accessories. The mitten madness began in 2008 when we discovered felting wool sweaters was almost instant gratification achieving the warm dense medium that was previously achieved after many hour

s of knitting. The felted wool is naturally water repellant and super warm but we also add cozy fleece lining for added warmth, softness on the skin and extra wind resistance. We create them with funky designs, glitzy beading, or unique embellishments - while still making sure that each pair is a warm and cozy, eco-friendly fashion statement. We never make two pairs of identical mittens and while each pair is perfectly coordinated they are not necessarily a mirror image match!! We make every effort to use all components of the sweaters and coats; buttons, pockets and other details are incorporated into the mittens as either functional details or as design elements. Ewe La La sells their products at local craft sales and artisan shows. Thousands of mittens have been sold and not one complaint or unsatisfied customer.

With prices rising on everything we do, eat and buy we have decided NOT to increase prices this year. This is because we want you to shop local and buy handmade and we want to thank the many loyal customers we are so appreciative of. Also there will no ‘shrinkflation’ - mittens will be the same size and still come in pairs 😁. Looking forward to seeing you at Originals Christmas Craft Sale December 7-11 at the EY Centre in Ottawa
