We believe that its important to get as close to the ancestral source of our plant medicine as possible, without chemical processing, which is one of the reasons we recommend making your own CBD or THC oil at home.

Most extractors are using butane or ethanol to extract retail CBD oils, and these chemical solvents leave behind residues in the finished oil. And most growers are not transparent in their growing methods, often using nefarious or non-organic methods.

Our roots are in organic farming, our farm having been one of the top organic vegetable producers in BC since 2004. But after a flood disaster in 2018, we were forced to pivot our operations to CBD Flower, and we've been growing ever since, to the same high organic standards we have always held.

We are certified organic craft growers. We hand harvest, hang dry and hand trim all of our flower. Our farm is located in Cawston, BC, in a desert climate with consistent high winds due to our location at the bottom of the valley - which means we never have issues with mould or moisture, unlike many other producers in Canada. We also don't have issues with pests, because of these high winds and low humidity.

We grow our CBD flower outdoors, in organic soil and sunlight, utilizing cover crops to feed our soil, hand weeding and caring for them with great love. We also apply mychorrizome to all of our plants, which is a fungi (mushrooms!) that helps the plants to communicate with each other in the soil.

We believe that plants, like us, respond positively to high frequency sounds, music and positive messages - and the science agrees! Following the work of Japanese scientist Dr. Emoto, who was a pioneer in the study of water, his work demonstrated that water is shaped by environment, thoughts and emotions and studied the scientific evidence on how the molecular structure in water transforms when it is exposed to human words, thoughts, sounds and intentions.

We play high frequency sounds, prayers and music to our plants while they grow and we include our annual Spotify playlist of our plant songs on our website, so you can tune in as well!

We also have various prayers and symbols on our irrigation lines, ensuring our plants receive the most love possible while growing in the fields.

Our Umpqua CBD Flower is craft grown on our organic farm in South Okanagan, BC - and as always, hand harvested, hang dried, hand trimmed. It has an incredible terpene profile with Myrcene, Pinene and Limonene dominant terps - flavours of hops, pine and citrus with a hint of chamomile.

This organic, high CBD flower is great for smoking (on its own or cut with your favourite THC flower), baking, resin-making, and of course making your own CBD oil at home!
