🏆 EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH 🏆

Please join us in congratulating Lyn on being named Employee of the Month for the 22nd consecutive month.

An absolutely unprecedented achievement.

During his historic 22-month reign, Lyn has held approximately 47 positions at The Rocking Horse, including:
Director of Smiles
Official Television Spokesperson for Dragon Affairs
Senior Vice President of Building Random Things
Executive Director of “Yeah, I Can Probably Make That”
Head of Window Painting & General Whimsy
Director of Other Duties as Assigned

This year alone, he hand-painted our Winnie the Pooh window, built more cars than we can reasonably keep track of, appeared on national news to discuss highly classified dragon business, and has continued to enthusiastically say yes to ideas that probably should have received at least one follow-up question.

We really are so lucky to have you, Lyn. Thanks for always being up for whatever we throw your way. ❤️

Congratulations on 22 months of being our undisputed Employee of the Month! 🏆

We’re looking for a Part-Time Sales Associate to join our team at The Rocking Horse this fall ❤️

We’re a small, close-knit team and we’re hoping to find someone who will fit right in. If you love talking to people, enjoy being around kids and families, and like the idea of spending your day surrounded by toys, you might be exactly who we’re looking for!

We’re looking for someone who is friendly, outgoing and dependable, and who genuinely enjoys helping people. Our store can get busy, so being able to jump in, help out and have fun with it is a big part of the job.

Previous retail or customer service experience is required.

This is a part-time position with regular shifts Thursday through Saturday. Applicants must have full daytime availability during our store hours (approximately 10am–5pm) on those days, as well as availability throughout December and the holiday season.

Sound like you? We’d love to meet you!

Please bring your resume in person to The Rocking Horse between 10am–3pm before Friday, August 28th.

Please note that resumes are being accepted in person only.

Pop by and pick one up at 193 Princess St. Downtown (and wish our bud Monica, the owner, a happy anniversary, obviously).
