We are back from vacation and are easing back into home chores & cat cuddles again. ☀️

So incredibly grateful for these past couple of weeks.🙏🏻

I had been so in work mode, focusing so intensely on myself and improving my life that I kind of forgot how to have fun. This past April I decided I was going to finally start dedicating my life to having more of it… and that’s all it’s been lately. Fun.

Reconnecting with old friends, making new ones, being free. Exploring. So much nature. So much laughter. So much love. 🙂

It’s been the best. I feel like a human again. My silly old self.

Finally back at home and back to reality, but trust me, the fun does not stop here. 😎🦋♥️

Turns out having a main goal of fun…. Is a lot of fun. ☀️🤩☀️

Time to get back to my 3 jobs of baking, making, and gardening. Clean this wild house. & liiiivvveee.

I will be on vacation. 🌴☀️🪇
In a couple of days I leave for the “otherworld” festival in Lake Cowichan on the island. It will be my first time going to a festival in about a decade… and then a couple days later I leave to go to Peach Land for the annual camping trip my friends do that is in honour of an old friend who passed. Which is always an incredible time full of much music, lake dips, bon fires, and much love. 💗

I’ll get back to business once I am done running around having fun. 🌟🤩🌟

They say that “Scent is the easiest way to be transported back into a memory”

So if you ever have a big event coming up, like a wedding or milestone, you should wear a distinctive scent for that day. Every time that you smell it again, it will take you back to that place and that moment.

I heard this one time and it was the whole inspiration behind my candles.

I wondered, what memories would I want to be transported back to? And then I started to think about all of the people that I loved and the experiences that I had shared with them. I thought about the scents that were around during those times I shared with them.

I started to ask myself, if I could fully encompass those people into a “slogan” or a “character” what would it be?

My candles are captured memories.

May they warm your heart & your home like they have done so for me.

I left last night feeling so incredibly inspired for so many different reasons.

I am so grateful for the people I met, conversations I had, and of course this incredible music that just kept rolling on out for the entire night.

There’s something really special about being in a room full of people who are following their heart & their dreams. Just letting their authentic souls shine so very brightly. 😍🌹🌟
