🚨 Scientists can now detect Varroa mites by their vibrations.

As they move through the colony Varroa mites produce unique vibration patternsβ€”and that finding could change how we monitor and understand hive health.

What does that mean for the future of beekeeping?

And what could it reveal about the hidden world of frequencies, bee communication, and colony health?

We dive into all of it in our newest blog post.

gracekymthorne's hive was on the verge of a hive beetle infestation. Here are some notes from her most recent hive inspection --->

"Prior to placing the Pure Wave Cell in the hive, I consistently noticed large numbers of hive beetles every time I opened it β€” almost to the point of infestation.
After adding the PureWave Cell, I noticed a significant change. On opening the hive, I observed only a single hive beetle, compared to the multiple I had come to expect.
My observation is that the bees appear to be far more effective at fighting off the hive beetle, and the beetle population is no longer taking over the hive.
A very interesting result."

Checking in with one of our awesome beekeepers, Cara from Indiana! 🐝✨

In her research notes, she shared some exciting updates: "Hive #1, PureWave hive, added a super at the beginning of May because the bottom 2 boxes were full of brood and honey. Just added supers at end of May to Hive #2, #3 and #4 for honey production. All hives are looking healthy but Hive #1 is SUPER CHARGED and LEADING THE WAY in honey production"

Stay tuned as we continue to track her progress!
