Les 5 et 6 juin, je serai au Congrès de l’ATQ, à Gatineau.
C’est toujours un moment un peu particulier… retrouver des visages connus, des amies, des collègues, parfois après un an.
Pour celles et ceux qui ne connaissent pas le Congrès de l’Association des tisserands du Québec, il s’agit d’un grand rassemblement autour du tissage textile.
Les congressistes peuvent participer à différents ateliers et conférences tout au long de l’événement.
Il y a également une exposition de pièces tissées provenant de membres de guildes et d’artisanes indépendantes, ainsi qu’un espace fournisseurs accessible aux visiteurs.
De mon côté, j’y serai comme exposante, mais aussi comme congressiste et simplement heureuse d’y retrouver la communauté textile. Et cette année encore, j’aurai aussi au moins une pièce dans l’exposition… il va donc falloir que je termine tout ça à temps 😄
Si vous y passez, venez me voir, ce sera un plaisir d’échanger autrement que par écran interposé.
Et comme chaque année, je peux apporter vos commandes sur place.

Will you be in Gatineau?
I’ll be at the ATQ Conference on June 5–6.
It’s always a special moment, reconnecting with familiar faces, friends, and fellow weavers.
For those unfamiliar with the Association des tisserands du Québec Conference, it’s a large gathering centred around weaving and textile arts.
Registered participants can attend workshops and lectures throughout the event.
There is also an exhibition of handwoven pieces from guild members and independent weavers, as well as a suppliers’ area open to visitors.
I’ll be there both as an exhibitor and as a participant and simply happy to reconnect with the textile community. And I’ll also have at least one piece in the exhibition… which means I should probably make sure everything is finished in time 😄
