Yesterday reminded me why I love this little vintage community so much.

Of course I found some treasures (and yes, I bought more than I planned 😅), but the best part of the day wasn’t what came home with me, it was the people.

I spent the day chatting with vendors, meeting people I’ve followed online for ages, hearing stories, sharing laughs, and learning from folks who are incredibly passionate about what they do.

Getting this little vintage venture on the go can sometimes feel isolating. Then you spend a day surrounded by people who understand the excitement of a good find, the work behind the scenes, and the joy of giving old things a second life, and suddenly it feels a lot less lonely.

I left with a car full of vintage, but more importantly, I left feeling inspired, encouraged, and grateful to be part of such a welcoming community.

Also, for the record, every purchase was absolutely necessary. Future me will figure that out later.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to chat. You made a great day even better. ❤️

This is exactly why I love vintage. Not because things are old, but because things were made to be used.

I’ll never pass up a beautiful piece of pottery.

A pitcher that poured thousands of cups. A bowl that sat on a family table. A mug that started someone’s morning ritual. Maybe even a car mug. 🤷🏻‍♀️😁

I love collecting pieces that still have life left in them. Pieces that let me imagine the stories they’ve witnessed and the homes they’ve lived in.

Every treasure has a story. We just get to become part of it for a little while. ♥️

What’s one item you’ll never pass up when thrifting??

What a weekend!! ☀️

I finally took some time to slow down after a crazy few months. May and June are historically busy in my line of work, and when you add starting a business into the mix, this gal’s nervous system was definitely asking for a little peace and quiet.

Not only did I get the time I needed to recharge, but I also found some treasures along the way, which honestly is its own kind of therapy.

I was at the checkout when my eye caught a glimpse of THIS. It was just there, out in the wild. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I calm myself and ask the volunteer, “Umm, is this ready to go on the floor or is it a new donation waiting to be priced?”. She picks it up, turns it around and there it was…

$1.99!!! 😳

If you saw this 47 year old running through the parking lot like a maniac with her hands full (because I always forget my reusable bags), this is why!! 😅

Swipe to see where this $1.99 thrift score ended up. ♥️

Starting and running this little vintage business involves a lot more than hunting for treasures.

Today’s adventure: linking Facebook Little House account and Instagram Little house account.

Between the online business learning curve and my ADHD’s complicated relationship with instructions, I’m feeling a little frazzled. 😅

If you’re seeing this post in both places, celebrate the small victories with me. 🏠♥️

If you only see this on Insta, pray for me. 😅
