Victoria Day weekend is Canada’s unofficial start of camping season. And camping season means one thing: s’mores.
This year, we gave it a Walker’s twist — an all-butter shortbread crust, rich chocolate fudge, and toasted marshmallows, finished with Walker’s Shortbread Mini Fingers for a crumbly top.
Here’s how to make them:
Ingredients:
• 300g (2 packs) Walker’s Shortbread Fingers, crushed
• ½ cup brown sugar
• ¼ tsp salt
• 14 tbsp melted butter
• 12 oz milk chocolate, chopped
• 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
• 36 marshmallows
• Walker’s Mini Fingers (for topping)
Method:
Mix crushed Walker’s Shortbread, brown sugar, salt, and melted butter. Press into a lined 8x8 pan. Optional: bake at 325°F for ~10 minutes.
Melt chocolate with condensed milk until smooth, then pour over crust.
Top with marshmallows and toast until golden.
Finish with Walker’s Shortbread Mini Fingers on top. Slice and serve.
