Dreadlock Installation Policy *NEW*

To provide the best possible results, every installation appointment is completed under the following terms. Booking an appointment confirms that you have read and agreed to this policy. Hair Preparation

Your hair must arrive:

* Freshly washed within 24 hours of your appointment.
* Completely dry.
* Free of conditioner, oils, leave-in products, waxes, gels, d

ry shampoo, and heavy styling products.
* Thoroughly brushed and free of knots unless otherwise discussed. If your hair requires excessive detangling or preparation beyond normal installation, additional fees may apply or the appointment may need to be rescheduled. Appointment Expectations

Dreadlock installations are detailed, time-intensive appointments that may take several hours depending on the style and amount of hair being installed. Please:

* Arrive on time.
* Wear comfortable clothing.
* Bring snacks or drinks if needed for longer appointments.
* Let me know in advance if you need breaks. Children & Additional Guests

To ensure a safe, comfortable, and distraction-free environment, **children are not permitted** at installation appointments unless they are the client receiving the service. Please arrange childcare before your appointment. Only the scheduled client may attend the appointment unless prior approval has been given. If you wish to bring a support person, please discuss this with me before your appointment. If you arrive with children or unapproved guests, I reserve the right to reschedule or cancel the appointment, and any applicable booking or cancellation policies will apply. During Your Installation

For the best results, please:

* Keep excessive head movement to a minimum.
* Avoid repeatedly touching, pulling, or adjusting the dreadlocks while they are being installed.
* Inform me immediately if you experience significant discomfort.
* Trust the installation process. Hair will look different throughout the appointment before the final blending and styling is complete. Aftercare

Once your installation is complete:

* Follow all aftercare instructions provided.
* Avoid excessive washing, swimming, or heavy sweating during the recommended settling period.
* Do not trim, tighten, or alter the dreadlocks yourself unless instructed.
* Improper care may affect longevity and is not considered a workmanship issue. Adjustments

If there is a genuine installation issue caused by my workmanship, please contact me within **48 hours** of your appointment and include clear photos. Small adjustments related to the installation may be offered at my discretion. This does not include:

* Changes made by the client.
* Normal loosening or settling of natural hair.
* General wear from sleeping, washing, exercise, or daily activities. Client Responsibility

By booking an installation, you acknowledge that:

* You have honestly disclosed your hair history and condition.
* You understand that synthetic dreadlocks require ongoing maintenance.
* Results vary depending on your natural hair texture, density, length, and aftercare.
* You are responsible for following all aftercare instructions after leaving the appointment. Respect & Professionalism

A respectful environment is expected from both client and artist. Appointments may be ended or refused in cases of abusive behavior, repeated lateness, or failure to follow agreed appointment policies. Thank you for respecting the time, craftsmanship, and care that goes into every handmade dreadlock installation.

Would you condsier this to be a form of calico? Ive been dying to do an install but i have to make some new ones. I usually dont go for natural looking colors but the calico was always an exception.

Debating on what to install based on what i have made and available right now.

The new hair order I got on Monday but actually so crashed out I didnt notice until Tuesday that it was delivered!

The magenta waves arent new but they go SO amazing with the deep ocean purple waves I just cant stop myself from making something but I have to resist the urge for now until I figure out a method I saw someone do when making wavy DE locks.

I finally got some natural colors, a nice honey blonde-ish that came in a 3 pack. The yellow and orange are going to be a part of a lava/fire themed set and a pink ombre that is still in the package for now.

I love hair days and can't stop thinking of sets to make! Customs are available but until then i'll be making pre-mades that can either be purchased solo, or mix and matched with others at a discounted price to make a larger set.

If interested you can send me a DM, email to [email protected] or preferably filling out the custom order consultation form

I have module 1 & 2 fully done just have to edit them then organize SO much other content for the other 11 modules of my dreadlock learning course.

I wanted to make an update due to being away from my socials for a few days that they are still coming along, I am just struggling not only getting content in order but REALLY bad lack of storage on two cell phones and my laptop.

I wish I had someone who could come over with a laptop and help me edit because thats what is going to take the longest and I still have people looking for specific tutorials/requests I am more than willing to make and post to my YouTube. Im just overwhelmed with the lack of storage/organizing & editing content. Not all of the content is fresh and new. I have over 3 years of content that has to be chopped up and edited into other videos!

Also find a platform where I can post each module for everyone to download/keep at an affordable price instead of a subscription based platform that people will lose the content if life happens and they cant keep up with the subscription. That way if they just want module 4 they have it available to them when the financial burdens of life happen

I am still working on it, have some names noted of people who were very interested but please continue to let me know of your interest and any little tutorials you might want in the meantime that i can make you for my Youtube.

💥 WANT TO LEARN TO MAKE LOC EXTENSIONS? 💥

I’ve been thinking about something for a while, and after getting more and more requests from people in the dreadlock community, I’m seriously considering creating a full synthetic dreadlock-making course.

I’ve had quite a few people ask me to make tutorials showing how I make my dreadlocks, tell me they’re starting to learn themselves, or say they would specifically like to learn from me. That got me thinking that instead of continuing to randomly film individual tutorials whenever I happen to be making something, I could actually build a structured course from the ground up.

I’m currently envisioning something around 10–13 modules, with multiple lessons within each module, taking you through the process step by step.

Some of the topics I’m considering include:

• Understanding synthetic hair and choosing the right materials
• Where and how to purchase hair
• Tools and supplies you’ll need
• Setting up your workspace
• Preparing and separating synthetic hair
• Single-ended dreadlock construction
• Double-ended dreadlock construction
• Different styles, textures, colors and techniques
• Creating consistent dreadlocks and full sets
• Tips, tricks and troubleshooting
• Fixing common mistakes
• Adding jewelry and decorative elements
• Quality control and finishing
• Potentially turning dreadlock making into a small business, including pricing, product presentation and selling (From someone with a Business Management & Digital Marketing Diploma)

I’m thinking of including downloadable reference materials and a library of shorter troubleshooting/tutorial videos that people could come back to whenever they get stuck on something.

Before I spend the next several weeks filming, editing and organizing approximately 900,000 videos, I want to know whether this is actually something people would want.

So I’m asking honestly:
Would you be interested in purchasing a complete synthetic dreadlock-making course from me?

And if so:
What would you specifically want included?

Would you prefer a one-time purchase or a subscription/membership where new lessons and tutorials are added over time?

What price range would you realistically consider paying for a comprehensive course like this?

And if you’re already making synthetic dreadlocks, what is something you wish someone had taught you when you were starting?

I’m genuinely interested in hearing from people who would actually consider paying for the course, not just people who think it sounds cool. That distinction matters when I’m deciding whether to turn this into a real product.

If there’s enough interest, I’d love to build something that goes beyond a collection of random YouTube tutorials and creates an actual step-by-step learning path from beginner techniques through more advanced dreadlock-making skills.
