Merlin approves. 🐱🌿
We let our cat be the first to test our new sticky soil jar, safe to say he’s a fan.

Behind the scenes we’ve been mixing and testing different recipes to get the formula right. We started with unscented clumping cat litter, coco coir, activated charcoal, and water. We’re now replacing the cat litter with Stone Desert and adding worm castings to the mix.

On a laissé notre chat être le premier à tester notre nouveau pot de terre collante, il est clairement fan.

Dans les coulisses, on mélange et teste différentes recettes pour trouver la bonne formule. On a commencé avec de la litière agglomérante non parfumée, de la fibre de coco, du charbon actif et de l’eau. On remplace maintenant la litière par du Stone Desert et on ajoute des déjections de vers de terre au mélange.

Fabriqué depuis notre maison dans le Plateau Mont-Royal, Montréal,livraison partout au Canada. 🇨🇦

Wanted to show a bit of the process we go through in preparation of our kits and add-ons, available at our online store. 🌿

1. Hydrating our coco coir before mixing it into our substrate. This is the base layer that keeps your moss happy and healthy.

2. Producing our stampers by size. This one is a fun one. A bamboo stick with a cork tip, handmade by us to help you press and shape your substrate inside the jar.

3. There’s no accuracy without tweezers, our must-have tool for placing moss, figurines, and tiny details exactly where you want them.

4. Spoon for every scoop. Substrate, pebbles, sand, you name it.

Voici un aperçu du processus que nous suivons pour préparer nos kits et nos accessoires, disponibles dans notre boutique en ligne. 🌿

1. Hydrater notre fibre de coco avant de la mélanger à notre substrat. C’est la couche de base qui garde votre mousse heureuse et en bonne santé.

2. Produire nos estampeurs par taille. Celui-ci est amusant. Un bâton de bambou avec un embout en liège, fait à la main par nous pour vous aider à presser et façonner votre substrat dans le bocal.

3. Pas de précision sans pince à épiler — notre outil indispensable pour placer la mousse, les figurines et les petits détails exactement où vous le souhaitez.

4. Une cuillère pour chaque utilisation. Substrat, cailloux, sable — vous choisissez.

We want to make Mossy World a reality, and this is what it looks like right now. 🌿
We were both senior creatives in our fields. Our jobs had us stuck in our screens all day, and it wore us out more than once. It was time for a change. We wanted control over our own direction in life. In search of something tangible, outdoors, something that made us move and actually interact with the world again, my partner came upon moss products, and after deep research and personal discoveries we decided to pursue it.
Now it’s dinner table, two laptops, a lot of moss, and a growing checklist. Figuring out every detail together makes this journey much more memorable.

We want to make Mossy World a reality, and this is what it looks like right now. 🌿
