It’s official — Heritage Nursery’s 3rd Annual Friday Night Christmas Market is back! ❤️

We’re now accepting vendor applications for TWO magical evenings:

🎄 Friday, November 27 | 6–9 PM
🎄 Friday, December 4 | 7–10 PM

📍 Heritage Nursery — 97 Nelson Ave S, Nakusp

We’re looking for a wonderful mix of local makers, artisans, bakers, creators, food vendors, gifts, Christmas goodies and unique small businesses to join us.

✨ $50 per night
✨ $80 for BOTH nights
✨ Approx. 10’ × 10’ outdoor booth space
✨ Vendors provide their own tables, displays & lighting
✨ No electrical outlets are available — vendors must provide their own power if needed

🎁 Vendor applications & payment are due by October 30, 2026.

Applications will be approved to help us create a great variety of vendors and avoid too much duplication.

Today is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. As we take time to remember, honour and reflect on the significance of this day, we will also be opening our doors for one final day before our week-long break.

🌳 ALL FRUIT TREES — JUST $30 EACH!! 🌳

We are clearing out EVERYTHING we possibly can before we start making room for our upcoming Christmas Market! 🎄

👗 LAST DAY OF THE CLOTHING SWAP!

Today is also your final chance to come browse, find some treasures and give some lovely clothing a new home! Please come collect anything you wish to keep, as we’ll be wrapping up the swap for the season.

THEN WE’RE TAKING A BREAK!

We will reopen for just THREE final days:

⏰ 10 AM – 3 PM

These will be our final clearance days, along with your last opportunity to stock up on Spicers farm-fresh vegetables for Thanksgiving and winter!

After that, it’s goodbye gardening season and HELLO CHRISTMAS MARKET preparations! 🎄✨

🌿 OUR FINAL DAYS OF THE 2026 SEASON! 🌿

Well, friends… we’re getting down to the very end! 🍂

We have TWO MORE DAYS open this month:

🌱 Today, September 28 — 9 AM–3 PM

🚪 Tuesday, September 29 — CLOSED

🌱 Wednesday, September 30 — 9 AM–3 PM

Then we’ll close up for a little break before opening our doors one final time:

🍂 October 8, 9 & 10 | 10 AM–3 PM

These will be our LAST THREE DAYS OF THE SEASON, and we’ll be clearing out as much as possible!

🌱 Stock up on plants, trees, shrubs and garden goodies
🥕 Pick up Janet’s fresh Spicer Farm vegetables for Thanksgiving

After October 10, we’ll officially be closed for the 2026 season….

🌧️ A little rainy-day change of plans! 🌧️

With rain in the forecast today, we’ve decided to take today to catch up on some very important orders and behind-the-scenes work.

We don’t get many days where we can step away from the nursery, and we’re officially under a bit of a time crunch with the season winding down. So we’re going to make the most of this rainy day and get some order done to get ready for next season. 🌱

We hope this doesn’t cause any inconvenience, and we truly appreciate your understanding and support. ❤️

We’ll be back to our regular hours tomorrow!

And a little heads-up: starting October 1st, we’ll be moving to our fall hours. 🍂 We’re still working out exactly what those hours will look like, and we’ll post them as soon as we have everything figured out.

Thank you for supporting our little nursery and for understanding that there’s a lot that happens behind the scenes to keep things growing! 🌿❤️

👗 THE CLOTHING SWAP CONTINUES!

Because the response has been so amazing — and because people are STILL bringing in bags of clothing every single day — we’ve decided to keep the clothing swap going for a little while longer! 🎉

For the next little while, our greenhouse will be filled with clothes, and you’re welcome to come in during regular nursery hours to browse, take what you need, and find some new-to-you treasures. ❤️

👚 WOMEN’S CLOTHING ONLY

Just a reminder that this clothing swap is for women’s clothing only. At this time, we are not accepting men’s or children’s clothing.

A VERY IMPORTANT REQUEST ❤️

Please DO NOT just drop bags of clothing at the nursery.

If you’re bringing clothing to contribute, we ask that you please:
✔️ Sort it by size as much as possible
✔️ Make sure it is clean and in good, usable condition
✔️ Please don’t bring torn, stained, damaged or otherwise unusable items
✔️ Help keep things organized by putting clothing in the appropriate size/category

This is something we’re offering simply out of the kindness of our hearts and as a way to give our community a little extra space to share and reuse clothing. We’re providing the space, but we just don’t have the time or staff to sort through bags ourselves.

We want this to remain something that is easy, enjoyable and helpful for everyone — and that means everyone needs to do their part. 😊

Come have a browse, bring something along if you have quality women’s clothing to share, and take what you can use. No money, no fuss — just community sharing. 🥰
