The Rowan Story
We started out in Newmarket as a small renovation company in 1984. A few years later we recognized the need for a specialty hardwood flooring store in the Newmarket/ Aurora area and Rowan Hardwood Floors was born. In 2002 after growing both our contractor and residential base we expanded to our current location with over 3000 sq ft of showroom space. Our selection grew as did our r

eputation for product knowledge and experienced installers. Now with almost 30 years serving the region our most valuable asset is our repeat customers and contractors. We invite you to join the family, the “Rowan” Family tree! The name "Rowan" refers to a variety of mountain ash tree - that is in fact common here and is cultivated as a shade tree for comfort. We think it’s fitting as we are all about comfort and hope you’ll agree.
