We took a day trip today. The weather was perfect. We went mostly on backroads, lunch in Parry Sound, then stumbled upon the cutest store in Rosseau on our way to Bracebridge. Melinda is a gem of a shop. It’s tiny but filled with the most beautiful things. If you have a chance, check them out before Thanksgiving weekend. Great gift shopping or grab something for yourself. 🌸☮️ hours are different until then, so best to contact first (I think Fri/Sat/Sun). The owner is lovely and very talented. Well worth the drive. Many other cool shops in Rosseau.

Finally, a new set of rolags. I was in a Halloweenie mood, not sure if I actually captured that. 👻 I don’t normally think about Halloween this outrageously early. But this is where my head was at today. 🤪 yes, weird.

Two new batts. Normally I only put my fibre through the carder once. I carefully pre-draft most of it so it’s dreamy to spin. Last night I wanted to blend the fibres and colours even further. These two have been run through the carder twice. They are super lofty! 😍
