🧶 Is it time?
It’s been quiet here for a while — about 7 months, to be exact. Life threw a few things my way that needed my full attention, and posting slipped to the side. But your DMs and messages never stopped.

I’ve been blown away by the love and support, and the big question I keep hearing is:
“Are you doing XOXO Fibre again this year?”

So I’m here, peeking out from the fibre fog, to ask you — should we bring it back? Maybe early October?

Wow… when did that happen?!

We’ve just passed 1000 followers, and our hearts are full of gratitude. Thank you for being here, for showing up, and for making this community such a beautiful, welcoming, and fibre-filled space.

Here’s to every stitch, every share, every message, every smile—and to the next thousand moments we create together.

Our Fibre Love Mailbox table was a heartfelt hit—and we’re still smiling at the beautiful, funny, kind, and unexpected notes you wrote to one another.

We were able to hand-deliver and mail out many of your messages on the day of the festival
💫 Here are some we have yet to send out or we may not know how to reach the persons they are intended for.

On top of our gift culture, this is gratitude in a different form. This is what XOXO Fibre is all about: small acts of care, connection, and community.

✨ One of the most beautiful things we witnessed at XOXO Fibre was the spirit of gift culture in full bloom.

No signs. No rules. Just spontaneous acts of generosity.
💖 Macro skeins handed to new friends.
💖 Stickers and stitch markers slipped into palms.
💖 Love notes, fibre samples, tiny handmade treasures — given freely, with joy.

This is what happens when we create spaces where people feel connected, seen, and safe to share. Thank you to every single person who brought a little something to give — whether it was a physical object or simply an open heart.

Gift culture is the heartbeat of XOXO Fibre. Let’s keep it going — beyond the festival, into our circles, our meetups, our everyday.

The West Coast Knitters’ Guild has been a XOXO Fibre’s sponsor both years — and we couldn’t be more grateful.

This vibrant community of crafters has been championing the fibre arts since 1991, with a focus on celebrating and enhancing the artistry of knitting and fibre arts. They’re committed to developing skills, fostering connection, and making the fibre world more accessible for all.

Personally, the Guild was one of the first places I felt truly welcomed in the fibre arts community over seven years ago — and I’ve never forgotten that nor have I left since.

From monthly meetings and classes to organizing Vancouver’s own Woolith Fair yarn crawl, the Guild brings knitters and crocheters together in joyful, meaningful ways. They even offer member discounts at local yarn shops!
