hello everyone. My name is Kim and I'm the Owner/Founder and sole employee of The PEI Gift Box. I started this small business in 2020 during the Covid pandemic. I had two goals 1) to feature and promote some of the wonderful artisans all across PEI and 2) to give Islanders a way to send "a little bit of PEI" in a box to loved ones who couldn't get to the Island due to the pandemic.
I feel I need to apologize to you because I haven't done much with the business for the last 1.5 years. This is because the last year and a half has been extremely difficult for me. Illness, loved ones passing, custody dispute that my daughter has been going through - it all left me emotionally and physically drained at the end of the day. Oh and then there was the ongoing Canada Post strike - that certainly didn't help.
Moving into 2026, I'm hopeful that my life will settle down some and I look forward to possible new opportunities for The PEI Gift Box. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Blessings to each of you for the new year!
