🕰️ 75 years of Barrington’s in Downtown Oakville!

Since opening its doors in 1951, Barrington’s has been a fixture of Downtown Oakville and is the longest-running retail business in Oakville.

What began as a furrier shop founded by Robert Barrington has evolved over the decades, moving to several locations throughout Downtown Oakville before settling into its current home in 1976.

Today, Paul and Brenda Barrington continue the family business, with the next generation, Brooke and Carly, now part of the Barrington’s story.

We sat down with the family to look back at 75 years of history, how the business and fashion have changed, and what’s ahead for the next generation. 🤍
