Quartz crystals are among the most abundant and well-known minerals on Earth. It belongs to the hexagonal crystal system, and typically forms six-sided prismatic crystals with a pointed termination. Its crystals can be colorless or exhibit a wide range of colors. The color variations are often due to the presence of impurities or trace elements during the crystal's formation. Quartz is transparent to translucent.

Quartz from this quarry is known as the best of its kind. These specimens have a unique brightness and surface sparkle preferred by collectors around the world. The crystals are intergrown with many others in jackstraw groups which are not attached to matrix: giving you an unlikely-looking floater specimen. The specimen is in very good condition.

This is a superb Nantan meteorite individual specimen, directly from Guangxi, China. Its dimensions are 69x40x24 mm and it weighs 150 grams.

The Nantan meteorites are a must for all collectors, more so that it is now very difficult to find worthy specimen. They are a very interesting IAB MG iron discovered in 1958 and there is an estimated 9.5 T of this material. This is 1 of 88 approved meteorites classified as Iron, IAB-MG.

These are Lemon Phantom Quartz from Brazil. Phantom quartz is a variety of quartz, or "rock crystal", that forms over pre-existing crystals. The included crystal is visible due to some variation in composition making the boundary of the included crystal visible. Such crystals display the outlines of numerous smaller crystals, known as phantoms. Great crystal to acquire.

This is a 0.92 gram grouping of micros of the Russian Sikhote-Alin classified meteorite. This Iron (IIAB) Coarsest Octahedrite classified meteorite was recovered in Russia after the fall of February 12, 1947.

So far approximately 23 tons of this material have been recovered. This piece displays extremely well and is a very desirable size. These specimens are known as shrapnel specimens, ripped and torn edges reminiscent of bomb shrapnel. They broke due to atmospheric pressure and/or mid-air collisions, and possibly explosive fragmentation upon impact. These pieces are a good example of the shrapnel type Sikhote-Alin.
