Francis Sandy Thrift Store Francis Sandy is our local Thrift Store located on Christian Island. We accept and resell gently used items at a affordable price.

The Francis Sandy Thrift is run on donations from the Community. We charge $5 for a shopping bag fill-up. Our Youth when they come in to shop are free. We do have New items and designer Clothing rack that we charge $5 an item. This is not included in your $5 fill-up. We also help in emergency cases. Housekeeping for donating:
Please No Broken Knickknacks or Big furniture, we can post on your behalf if you have furniture you would like to donate or sell

The Francis Sandy Thrift store is located downstairs of the Christian Island United Church. We also book group programs and Family functions. To inquire of donating or booking the CIUC Hall please message or call.

Good morning Chimnissing and Friend's. Just a update. Our renovations are still ongoing, with the floors taking the longest to cure in the Thrift store. The Sunday School side begins this week. Soon we will be open and accepting donations.

The Nookmisuk Group ( formerly known as the ( United Church Women’s Group ) has another Quilt raffle ( Double/full size quilt ) with matching pillow shams starting today July 17th.
Our 2nd place draw is Dave & Sharon Sylvester's bottled Maple Syrup 🍁 with Pampered Chef Dipping oil and Maple Savory 🍁
The winner will be announced at the Island in the Sun Pow Wow weekend September 13th
The proceeds will be going for more material and foam for the Church Pews ⛪️

Drywall will be replaced and floors will have a special paint which needs a week to cure. Sorry for any inconveniences this coming week.
