Saturday at the farmstand is bringing all kinds of goodies! Newly preserved salsa made with our very own heirloom cherry tomatoes. Chili sauce from our Roma tomatoes. Fresh apple pies and crumbles. Carrot cakes. Cookies. And so much bread!

Apologies to anyone who was still planning on coming out today but we are SOLD OUT so I have closed the farmstand.

Third year of retirement and third year I’ve sat and watched the busses go by on the first day of school. My heart goes out to my educator friends who are dealing with thunder, lightning, pouring rain and indoor recesses during the usual chaos of day one! Fortunately the forecast looks brighter as the day goes on. Big smiles from the front porch today.
