The Thrift Shop is operated as a fundraising initiative to ensure that the high quality programs and services of The Prince Edward County Community Care for Seniors continue to be available to seniors in Prince Edward County to assist them to live in reasonable independence in their own homes in the community. At the Community Care for Seniors Thrift Shop we receive donated stock, clean it, repair it, price and sell it. ALL OF THE INCOME, less operating expenses like heat and hydro, funds programs to help seniors in The County to live at home.

Next week is a big week for seniors! Community Care is celebrating International Week of the Older Persons and National Seniors Day with an open house at 74 King Street. Stop by to see us and learn how Community Care supports seniors in Prince Edward County! We will have coffee, refreshments and door prizes! Drop in anytime from 9:30 to 11am!
