I finally finished my lightweight cotton summer top, just in time for fall. It's a bit short, I really wish I had knit the body longer. I love it so much though, that I already bought the yarn to make it again!.

Weaving today!

Yes, this is a Christmas weave, no it most certainly was not supposed to be done several months ago in time for Christmas 2024. Clearly I'm just in the Christmas spirit for 2025.

I made these toe-up, two-at-a-time, afterthought heel ribbed socks, without a pattern! I guess that means I'm a sock knitter, and I should immediately stop knitting socks and turn to a new hobby.

It looks like a sock! It looks like a sock that will fit a human foot!

I've knit top-down socks before but they've never fit, so I'm trying toe up now. They'll probably not fit, but in a whole new way.

They've been 95% done for at least a month now, but I finally finished hand-hemming the last one (yeah, that's right, I hem) and now they are finished.

Here is Series 2 of what I'm calling the "FAFO Dishtowels." That's "F**k-Around-and-Find-Out," after my planning process. Like I did as a college instructor, I have omitted the worst one.

These towels are for sale! I'll post photos of individual towels in the FB thread. $40 each +$5 shipping. 100% cotton, imperfectly handmade by me.

Just a quick weave to prove to myself I can. I measured the warp and dressed the loom in two days, and I'm going to get this scarf done asap. Maybe today?

Weaving with sock yarn! It's weird using a fibre that's got some stretch in it after using exclusively cotton for so long. I'm really having to pay attention to my beat. Look at those goddamn selvedges though? Beauty.

I'm kind of paralyzed about starting a new knitting project, so I'm back at the loom. This tea towel is unplanned zigzags; just zigging and zagging with no plan LIKE A MADWOMAN.

Ok, there's a smidge of a plan: zigs can be as long as I want, but zags are only 3 picks. I have standards.

Taking a moment on my lunch break (yes, my office is also a library, living that Belle life), to post my newest finished piece! It's a cropped, neon-yellow sweater and I lurrrve it.

Should I duplicate-stitch something on the front? What?
