Art Day October 3rd !!

Once Upon a Time, there was a Village, a fishing Village bathed by the iridescent waters of Lake Erie.

People came from all over the big country of Canada 🍁 but also from across the world. Sitting at the edge of the waters on Main Street, sat a gallery with a guest book for visitors to sign.

Many from Canada: Nova Scotia, Alberta, Vancouver…; naming but a few. The world also showed up. Visitors from the Cayman Islands, Scotland, England, Ireland, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, Holland, and Germany. Even from another Port Stanley, in the Falklands Islands.

They came to see the quaint village where art was displayed in many places, food was art on a plate and there was music in many corners!

They noticed the endless talented artists and daily life of painting or taking photos and that many shops celebrated their efforts.

In the spirit of our talented local artists, we have created an “Art Day” at the Village!

October 3rd from 11- 4

If you are an artist, bring your easel out and choose a corner in our quaint downtown, in front of a business, at the market, at a coffee house or restaurant patio!

Let’s show the visitors the talent and the joy that Art brings to us, creating some magic!

This will be an Art Day to remember!
