🌿 What does that actually do? Let’s talk herbs.

Natural wellness can come with a LOT of names you’ve heard before… but what are they actually used for? Here are a few you’ll find at Homespun and why people reach for them 👇

💜 L-Theanine — naturally found in green and black tea and commonly used to promote a sense of calm and relaxation without necessarily making you sleepy.

🌙 Valerian — a classic nighttime herb traditionally used to help promote relaxation and support restful sleep.

🌿 Horsetail — naturally rich in silica and traditionally used to support healthy hair, skin and nails.

🌼 Dandelion — traditionally used to support digestion and liver health and as a natural diuretic.

🐝 Propolis — made by bees from plant resins and known for its antimicrobial properties. It’s commonly used in throat products to help soothe and support the throat.

Sometimes understanding why a product is on the shelf makes choosing what’s right for you a whole lot easier. 🌱 That’s why we love sharing the what, why and how behind the products we carry at Homespun.

These are just some of our favourite products made right here at Homespun — carefully mixed, poured, packaged, and created by us with YOU in mind.

We keep things simple: thoughtfully chosen ingredients, no unnecessary added chemicals, and products we feel good about putting on our own shelves (and using in our own homes!).

There’s something pretty special about knowing a product was made by hand, in small batches, with lots of love and care. 🫶
