How’s your salad bar? Comment est ton bar à salade?
Here it is! The salad bar will soon have a make over. Basically with the warm season approaching I will not plant new seedling yet. My tower always undergo a big cleaning in spring and in fall. Once this cleaning will be done, it will be restarted with freshly grown seedling that I’ve started from seed, and will continue to grow this one indoor.
If you are asking why grow indoor when I could grow out in summer? It is only a question of preference. I love having my lettuce/ arugula/ green onion/etc near my kitchen ❤️ plus, it makes an amazing decor piece in my dinning room!

Et bien le voilà! Il aura sous peu une petite transformation. En fait, puisque la saison chaude approche, je ne replanterai pas de nouvelle pousse tout de suite. Mes tours ont toujours un gros nettoyage au printemps et à l’automne. Lorsque ce nettoyage aura été fait, ma tour à salade sera repartie avec de nouvelles pousses que j’aurai semer à partir de graines et continuer de pousser à l’intérieur.
Si vous vous demandez pourquoi faire pousser à l’intérieur l’été quand on pourrait faire pousser dehors…et bien ce n’est seulement qu’une question de préférences. J’aime avoir ma salade, m’y onion vert, ma roquette, etc à quelques pas de ma cuisine! De plus ça fait une belle décoration dans ma salle à manger!
