Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! 🦃

It's been a busy few days in the sewing room, with fabric flying, zippers going in, cosmetic bags coming together, and a special order packed up and ready to go! 🧵✂️💕

And somewhere in the middle of all that sewing, I even found time to help my Daughter make a bandana for Bo, the dog she is pet sitting . 🐾

Today, I'm taking a moment to appreciate all the little things that make this handmade journey so special.

Every order, every kind comment, every share, and every person who chooses to support my little business means more than you know. ❤️

I'm so thankful that I get to create colourful, one-of-a-kind pieces and share a little bit of what I love with all of you.

My husband made a trip to Saint John and delivered a beautiful new selection of Eloise bags to Together Designs, 94 Germain St., Saint John
I’m especially proud of this collection — rich textures, gorgeous colours and some of my favourite combinations. Each one has been handmade and is completely unique.

Sometimes it’s the small details that make a bag feel extra special — the hardware, the texture, the stitching and just the right combination of colours.

I’m getting more pieces ready for the Halifax Forum Christmas Market in November, and I’m trying very hard not to show you everything just yet. 🤭

A customer in Saint John sent this to me after attending the Bobby’s Hospice market yesterday. She and her friend were both carrying their Eloise bags, and several people recognized them!

Some days in a handmade business are more about the work behind the scenes. 😊

Cutting, sewing, topstitching, choosing hardware, attaching straps… and slowly watching the market inventory grow.

That’s pretty much where I am right now — working away and getting ready for a very busy November. & December.

The sewing machine has been busy around here! 👜✂️

I’m in full Christmas market sewing mode now, working on a mix of handbags, totes and crossbody bags in lots of different colours and textures.

Choosing what to make is actually one of the hardest parts — there are only so many hours in the day, and so many possibilities! 😂

Lots happening behind the scenes right now, and I’m looking forward to showing you the new ones as they come together. ❤️
